What is Anime Origins?

Anime Origins is a free Roblox anime tower defense game by Origins Project, released on August 15, 2026. You summon anime-inspired units from a gacha banner, place them on ground or hill spots to stop waves, and push through Story Mode, legend stages, Infinite (Infinity Mansion), Raids, Rifts and the Igris world boss while evolving and ascending your roster.

Is Anime Origins the Minecraft Origins mod or the Seven Deadly Sins: Origins game?

No — three different things share the name. This site covers the Roblox tower defense experience (roblox.com/games/129932912185311). "Origins" for Minecraft is an unrelated mod, and "The Seven Deadly Sins: Origins" is a Netmarble console/PC action RPG; guides for those will not help you here.

Is it "AO codes" or "Anime Orgins" — am I searching the right game?

Yes: AO is the community shorthand for Anime Origins (it is even one of the codes — AO gives 25 Trait Rerolls), and "anime orgins" is just the common misspelling. All of them point to the same Roblox tower defense by Origins Project; the working list is on our codes page.

Is Anime Origins free to play?

Yes. The experience is free on Roblox for PC, mobile, tablet and console, and private servers are free too. Optional game passes include Increased Game Speed (450 Robux), VIP (350), Shiny Hunter (1,100), extra unit storage (140) and Display More Units (300).

Where can I find working Anime Origins codes?

Our codes page lists every code we could confirm across at least three dated sources, with the reward and a one-tap copy button. Codes are redeemed from the Codes button on the right side of the main menu; the in-game note says redemption is limited to level 10+, so play a couple of story stages first if a code is rejected.

Is there an official Anime Origins Discord, Trello or X account?

The Roblox experience page and the Origins Project group (owner HolyPeanutt) are the only destinations we can verify. The game's social links are not exposed through the public Roblox API, and none of the Trello boards circulating on search are linked from the official group — so we do not post invite links we could not trace. See the official links page for what is and is not confirmed.

When did Anime Origins release?

Public release was Friday, August 15, 2026, after a testing period that began with the place's creation in October 2025. Launch-day traffic peaked above 30,000 concurrent players according to creator streams, and the game was still holding 20,000+ a week later.

What are the secret units in Anime Origins?

There are three on launch: Alucard (banner secret, 1 in 10,000), Madara (quest line unlocked with Madara's Tablet from Hidden Sand artifacts) and Yuta (Shibuya Metro rift drop). Each has its own page on this site with the exact route.

Why can I not hit the flying enemies?

Flying enemies can only be damaged by hill or hybrid units. On launch the only mythic hills are Vegeta and Akeno (Roxy also hits air), and the only units that become hybrid are Madara and Ban once upgraded. Always slot at least one hill unit before a story stage.

What does the Immortal (0.1%) trait do and why can I only use one?

Immortal gives +200% damage, 15% cooldown reduction, +20% range and +25% income, and once per match (after wave 10) it restores a lost base stock and wipes nearby non-boss enemies. Only one unit per team can have Immortal equipped — that is the game's deliberate limiter — and units can store two traits and swap between them in the lobby.

Is Anime Origins on mobile and console?

Yes. The experience page lists Mobile, Tablet, PC and Console support, and the auto-skip / auto-upgrade settings make the overnight farms most guides rely on possible on any device.

Is Anime Origins better than Anime Expeditions?

Different strengths. Origins launched with more day-one content (four worlds, two raids, rifts, a world boss, Infinity Mansion) and brings back hill/hybrid placement for flying enemies; Expeditions has the longer update history and larger player base. Our comparison guide goes through both from creators who play each.
