Anime Origins Hill & Hybrid Units: Who Can Hit Flying Enemies

Placement types

  • Ground — ground spots only, cannot hit flyers (Goku, Gojo, Alucard, Yuta, Igris, Ichigo, Meliodas all stay ground).
  • Hill — raised spots, hits air. Vegeta, Akeno, Roxy.
  • Hybrid — both. Madara from placement; Ban once fully upgraded.

Stages show the spot type in the top-right when you place. Flying enemies appear early — a team with no hill unit stalls in the first world.

Best hill unit: Vegeta

750 to place, two placements, physical fire. Final Stand: every attack that fails to kill adds Resolve; at five he gets +25% damage and -15% SPA for 10s, and because his attacks are multi-hit he self-buffs constantly. Evolves easily (Halo from West City legend 2). Do not put Immortal on him — keep it for a carry.

Akeno

The launch game’s only stun, full AoE, 150% to water enemies, two placements; the stun makes her the default air/fodder holder for the Igris world boss and rifts.

Roxy

Three placements, hits air, buffs magic units — great once magic carries exist, fine as a third hill now.

Hybrids

Madara (how to get) and Ban (raids). Yuta and Alucard are not hybrid despite being secrets.
